Our employees have emanated from the coal industry, with the majority having underground and surface “hands on management” operating experience. How We Work
We are AMD Industries.
We design, build, and operate acid mine drainage treatment facilities. We work in both new and existing AMD facilities, modifying them to improve efficiency, lower down time, and save significant cost.

Concept Planning
Our facilities actively treat coal mine water using high calcium lime sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide. We have designed and built passive treatment systems for lower flow facilities as well as sludge pumping systems and pump flotation devices. We also offer water sampling services with certified laboratory testing to fulfill all of our clients NPDES needs.

Material Preparation
Our staff has all of the current MSHA and OSHA training and is qualified to work in all 50 states. Our qualified electricians are ready to handle all of the civil, mechanical, and mining needs.

Executing Project
We are currently treating approximately 55 million gallons of water per day.

Brent’s consulting services will mesh seamlessly with AMD Industries’ 30 years of experience, which includes operation and maintenance (O&M) services and expertise in every construction facet around AMD plants. Our team is highly skilled at modifying these facilities to optimize their efficiency, reduce downtime, and generate substantial cost savings for clients.
Currently, AMD Industries is treating approximately 55 million gallons of water per day across 60 sites, strategically located across Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
