Michael Charlton is the oldest grandchild of AMD Industries’ founder, Robert Charlton, and the son of longtime AMD team member Donald Charlton. Growing up surrounded by the values of hard work, dedication, and integrity that his grandfather instilled in the company, Michael naturally followed in the family’s footsteps. For the past 22 years, he has worked side-by-side with his father in the field, bringing his strong work ethic and hands-on expertise to every project. His deep knowledge of the job and commitment to doing things the right way have made him a dependable and respected member of the AMD team.

Michael takes pride in knowing that his contributions help carry on the Charlton family legacy, not just as part of a business, but as part of a community dedicated to quality and service. He embraces the challenges of fieldwork, tackling each day with determination and a team-first mindset that inspires those around him.
Outside of his role at AMD, Michael’s most cherished title is “Dad.” He is the proud father of his daughter, Zoe, who holds a special place in the family as Robert’s first great-grandchild. Michael treasures spending time with her and watching her grow, knowing that she represents the next chapter in the family’s story.
